Problem Note 44077: Reports are empty in the SAS® Risk Dimensions® GUI

In the Results drop-down list on the Analysis tab of the SAS Risk Dimensions GUI, you might encounter reports that contain no results. The System tab of the SAS® Log window might display messages like the following when you view the reports:

Skipping index: 0 child: com.sas.analytics.risk.c_swing.util.ObjectSearchTreeLeaf@2b79ef An error occured during SQL processing . Dumping libs for reference.
System.err tab
FAILED: executeQuery class java.lang.String:SELECT VAR, VAR_L, VAR_U, VARPCT, VARPCT_L, VARPCT_U, NINST, NREP, N, NMISS, NADJUST, MEAN, STD, SKEWNESS, KURTOSIS, MIN, MEDIAN, MAX FROM RES_NUM.SIMSTAT WHERE ( RESULTNAME = ' 1. analysis-name: 1. P/L ' ) AND variable-value Data Query Failed. This problem is known to occur when you specify a numeric-type variable as a cross classification.

As a workaround, use character variables for cross classifications, instead of numeric variables.
